Meet the Team
Principal/Founder
Dejan is one of the founders of MicroNest, a build-to-rent specialist firm focusing on Australia. He has over 20 years of experience in finance, property and funds management.
Dejan was CIO of Fortius Funds Management with c$1.2bn AUM where he was overseeing investment, strategy and research teams covering all sectors of real estate including office, retail, industrial and residential.
Previously, Dejan was Head of the MSCI’s Real Estate sales team for APAC. He was in charge of teams covering Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.
Dejan was also a lecturer at Macquarie University and he regularly presents at property industry events in APAC. He holds a Master of Intn'l Business (with Merit) from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sarajevo.
Principal/Founder
Sascha is a senior real estate professional with more than 20 years' experience in global and domestic real estate markets. His experience incorporates managing residential and commercial assets & portfolios; portfolio construction, management and fund raising; transaction sourcing as well as cross border mergers & acquisitions and developments.
Sascha was Managing Director & Head of Schroders Real Estate Investment Management business in Germany and Head of direct property at a highly reputable funds management boutique in Australia. He has a track record in building business lines and has transacted more than 2bn AUD in direct real estate in Europe and Australia.
Sascha holds a Business Administration/Real Estate Management Degree from the University HTW, Berlin and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
